EXCLUSIVELY HOUSEWARES ENJOYS ANOTHER VINTAGE YEAR

Despite the recessionary gloom and a tube strike, the Exclusively Housewares trade show enjoyed another good year - for both visitors and exhibitors alike.

This year's show ran on June 9 and 10 at the Business Design Centre in London with a line up of 121 of the UK's best housewares and tabletop exhibitors, which included some 25 companies new to the show.

The show's director of sales, Patrick Wade commented, "Exclusively has always been about delivering the right buyers, not just lots of visitors, and it was very clear from all my conversations with exhibitors that they were very happy with who they had seen."

Exclusively Housewares continues to be a sell out show for exhibitors and this trend looks set to continue, as over a third of all stands have already been rebooked for 2010.

Similarly, in spite of the tube strike that brought most of Central London to halt, visitor numbers were up 6% on 2008, albeit weighted more heavily than usual to the show's first day.

Patrick Wade went on, "The Exclusively Housewares show continues to go from strength to strength, which is no mean feat in the current climate. "

"The show stands as a testament to the housewares and tabletop market place, that as a group of suppliers they are a ‘must see' for the best buyers from across the UK, and increasingly from Europe."
