UPBEAT EXCLUSIVELY HOUSEWARES LIFTS INDUSTRY!

The seventh Exclusively Housewares show, which ran recently on 10 and 11 June was ‘upbeat and positive'.

Pam Plant, the show director said: “The atmosphere was very positive, with plenty of new thinking and product development being discussed for the coming seasons.

“Most importantly, we felt that the industry enjoyed the business and social elements of the show, and that, as much as anything else, lifted everyone's spirits for two days against a pretty gloomy economic backdrop.”

Exclusively Housewares has always been a sell out show for exhibitors. This trend looks as though it will continue next year, as the show closed with a third of all stands rebooked.

Similarly, visitor numbers remained robust this year, indicating that buyers continue to appreciate the show's ‘exclusively' format and focus.

“Our exhibitors have never failed us,” said Pam. “They come with great ideas, new products and a smile on their faces! This is an industry that knows what it takes to survive and Exclusively Housewares provided a perfect demonstration.”
