EXCLUSIVELY HOUSEWARES 2010 SET FOR STRONG YEAR
(27.08.09)
With 75% of the 2010 show already rebooked to 2009 exhibitors, and a strong waiting list for the remaining stands, organiser Brooke House Exhibitions is looking forward to the show’s ninth outing.
“It is great to see our show regulars already signed for next year, alongside the 2009 first timers who want to come back!” commented new director of sales Patrick Wade.
In tableware show regulars already include Candlelight Products, Churchill China, Denby, Elia International, Fairmont & Main, Lifestyle Group with its Royal Stafford collection, Maxwell & Williams, Portmeirion Potteries including its Sophie Conran, Spode and Royal Worcester brands, Villeroy & Boch and WWRD United Kingdom, including its Waterford, Wedgwood, Royal Doulton and Johnson Brothers brands.
In bakeware, cookware and general housewares regular exhibitors include Addis, Amefa, Brabantia, Charles Bentley, Creative Tops, Cuisinart, David Mason, DKB Household, Eddingtons, Epicurean Europe, Ethos, Fiskars, Forma House, GEH, Gilberts Food Equipment, Giles & Posner, Grunwerg, GW International, Haus, Imperial International, Jeray, Joseph Joseph, Jura, Just Mugs, JVL, Krups, Le Creuset, Metaltex, Meyer, Oxo, Paton Calvert, Samuel Groves, Scott Brothers, T&G Woodware, Taylor’s Eye Witness, Tefal, Ultimate Products, Western House and WMF, to name but a few!
The ‘2009 first timers’ which have already booked a place for 2010 include 95% Danish, Alessi, Chefset, Green Pioneer, Jason Products, Lavazza and Robert Welch.
“Exhibitor bookings to date already deliver the show’s specialist housewares and tabletop product offer, so with some great names lined up to fill the final stands, the 2010 show is going to be a real ‘must visit’ occasion for buyers,” said Patrick.
As Exclusively Housewares is set up and run ‘By the industry, for the industry’, with key input from the British Home Enhancement Association (BHETA) and its housewares members, the organising team works closely with exhibitors to ensure that specific buyers are targeted to attend the show.
This year, for example, a group of selected leading European buyers was welcomed to the show in a move that was well-received by exhibitors. The initiative will be repeated for the 2010 show, with new territories and buying groups on the show’s hit list.
The show also created its own stylish ‘Show Review’ this year, which was mailed out to all buyers on the show’s database, plus all the key consumer home press. The six page, newspaper style review included photos, prices, availability and contact details and focused on products launched at the show. It has been extremely well-received by buyers and the press alike, generating further enquiries for exhibitors about their latest products.
The 2010 show will run on 8 and 9 June at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. 2010 marks the ninth year the show has run, and once again the show will be bringing together one of the largest specialist line-up’s of housewares and tabletop suppliers in the UK.
