‘Amethyst’, Denby’s new tableware range for spring 2010 was voted 'Tabletop Product of the Year 2010' at the recent Product of the Year Awards 2010 organised by Housewares Magazine and DIY Week.

Right on cue Denby has captured the current trend for deep strong colours returning into interior design as fashion collections are translating into interiors quicker than ever before.

The Amethyst semi-precious stone was the inspiration for this new gloriously deep and dramatic tableware pattern, the round curvy shapes of the pieces present the glossy purple glaze to great effect. There are also accent toning ‘repeat’ patterned pieces to create a welcoming tableware range plus a complementary glassware range.

Designed by in-house Designer, Sue Exton-Russell and produced at Denby’s factory in Derbyshire ‘Amethyst’ is destined to be a contemporary classic.

Denby has never had such a wide portfolio of tableware ranges from sophisticated bone china to the deep rich coloured stoneware for which it is renowned worldwide.

The Product of the Year Awards recognise excellence in product development, innovation and design across the spectrum of home improvement and home enhancement, including housewares, DIY, hardware and garden.
