WILLIAM CHAMBERS FINE BONE CHINA MUG COLLECTION - NEW DESIGNS FROM KEW LIBRARY (28.05.10)
As part of the collaboration between the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and Creative Tops, every sale of these new mugs will contribute towards Kew's vital plant conservation work.
The collection features three different designs in three different colours, from The William Chambers illustrative collection:
A View of the Aviary at Kew (pink)
A View of the *Pavillion at Kew (blue)
and Sir William Chambers (white).
The illustrations are taken from a book of drawings published in 1763 entitled “Plans, elevations, sections and perspective views of gardens and buildings at Kew Gardens Surrey”.
Each mug is available in a beautifully printed gift box and every purchase ensures a contribution towards Kew’s vital plant conservation work.
The mugs will be officially launched by Creative Tops on stand 306 at Exclusively Housewares.
*Note the word Pavillion is spelt in the original old English.
