2010 is an exciting year for OXO as the team celebrates 20 years of universal design by re-launching its famous Y Peeler.

The limited edition version of OXO's famous Y Peeler is available in an exclusive pre-loaded tray pack which features the OXO story. This began in 1990 when retired entrepreneur Sam Farber first questioned the effectiveness of ordinary kitchen gadgets.

After witnessing his wife struggle using everyday kitchen tools due to a mild case of arthritis, Sam was inspired and saw an opportunity to develop a range of products that were easy to use for the largest spectrum of people. Working with a noted gerontologist and an old friend and colleague from Smart Design, Sam created a range of universally designed tools that were not only wonderfully comfortable and easy to use, but would transcend generations and change the face of housewares for good.

As part of OXO's celebrations they ran a Prize Draw at Exclusively Housewares. There were 6 prizes up for grabs: -
