Tomorrow’s Kitchen – Making the Most of Your Microwave with Sistema
1.30pm 13 th June 2017

An essential part of tomorrow’s kitchen is the microwave oven: It is efficient, environmentally friendly, clean, quick, saves on washing up - so is practical - but most importantly, more nutrients are retained in microwave cooked food than by any other cooking method.
Jennipher Marshall-Jenkinson, Chairman of the Microwave Technologies Association, will be demonstrating the benefits of microwave cooking using Sistema Microwave Cookware at 1.30pm on 13th June, during Exclusively Houseware’s Tomorrow’s Kitchen demonstration programme.
Included in the cooking show will be a demonstration of how to cook a complete meal using Sistema cookware in a microwave oven. Two of Sistema’s soon to be launched, new products, Microwave Egg Poacher and Microwave Easy Bacon will be featured:
Sistema Microwave Egg Poacher takes the guess work out of poaching eggs. Simply crack eggs into trays, add cold water, attach lid, microwave, and within minutes perfect poached eggs are cooked. They are also stackable for easy storage.
Cooking Bacon has never been easier with the new Sistema Microwave Easy Bacon. Just lay rashers of bacon on the grooved base, attach lid, microwave and eat! Stackable for easy storage and features a drip spout to pour out cooking fat.
Sistema’s versatile dedicated Microwave range is designed for hassle free cooking. It includes steamers, plates, bowls, soup mugs and other containers of various sizes for cooking complete meals, as well as for re-heating food. In addition, the cookware is freezer safe which means that pre-prepared meals can be stored in the same container. Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, Sistema products are BPA & Phthalate free and are dishwasher safe.
Jennipher’s cooking demonstration will take place at 1.30pm on 13th June. To find out more about Sistema Microwave products and the benefits of Microwave cooking, please visit the Sistema stand EH343.
