DE'LONGHI CONFIRMS AS KEY SPONSOR FOR 2012
De’Longhi has confirmed it is to take on the key sponsorship of the Buyers’ Lounge, an area specifically for the use of buyers visiting the show, at the next Exclusively Housewares.
Thanks to De’Longhi, buyers will have access to free wifi connections, two private meeting rooms and light refreshments throughout the show.
Kate Donohoe, brand manager for De’Longhi UK says: “Following the success of our involvement with the show in 2011, we’re thrilled to be sponsoring the Buyers’ Lounge next year. We will be welcoming guests into the area with a cup of real Italian coffee made using one of our stylish coffee machines, to enjoy during their meetings or whilst working through emails using the complimentary wifi service. We are also looking forward to showcasing our range of innovative new premium coffee machines, kettles and toasters on our exhibition stand which we trust will be well-received by retailers.”
Other news from the show includes confirmation that Ready Steady Cook will continue its sponsorship of the show’s now legendary tea trollies, which offer visitors and exhibitors a free supply of hot and cold drinks throughout the show, and sees Du Pont and Teflon stepping in to sponsor the show bags. These are given to every visitor on arrival and contain a free show catalogue and a Progressive Housewares Training Source Book.
The 2012 show will run on 12 and 13 June, a week later than usual due to the timing of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. This will be the exhibition’s eleventh year.
The show is a sell out and its line-up of 120 exhibitors represents one of the largest specialist gatherings of housewares and tabletop suppliers in the UK.
Exclusively Housewares is a restricted admission show, with only bona fide housewares and tabletop buyers invited to attend.
