Great Tescoma Product Training For Forma House!
Forma House on tour to Tescoma!
As Tescoma prepare to premier their everyday kitchenware range for the very first time here in the UK at Exclusively Housewares 2012, a selection of the Forma sales team travelled to their headquarters in Italy to get a preview of all the new products that will be presented at the show.
For most of the team, this was the first time they had visited Tescoma’s impressive European headquarters, which included a tour of their high-spec visitor’s showroom featuring 2000+ kitchenware products and a visit to their international distribution hub. The team were also given an overview on the history of the business and how it has impressively grown to become an international force across the housewares industry – initially by targeting developing markets.
Founded 1992 in the Czech Republic, Tescoma now reaches a global audience of 90+ Countries including India, most of Asia and more recently South Africa. This visit also gave the Forma House sales team an opportunity to share ideas and gain valuable brand knowledge.
Forma’s newest agent for East Anglia Peter Hurford said of the trip, "I have only been with Forma for just over a month, so this visit to Tescoma came at exactly the right time. I am looking forward to sharing this range with my customers, especially the great selection of gadgets which include a meat grinder and a pea-sheller!"
Simon Maghnagi, business development manager at Forma House added, ‘This trip has been a great opportunity for us all to see the impact Tescoma has made on emerging territories across the World, which is something we also hope to emulate here in the UK’.
To top-off the trip, the team enjoyed a relaxed evening by the stunning lakes of Iseo where locally brewed wine and the freshly prepared steaks flowed throughout the evening… a cheeky slice of locally made tiramisu to round off proceedings was of course a total must!
The whole team now look forward to presenting this exciting range of everyday kitchenware at Exclusively Housewares in June, which will also include product demos on the revolutionary new Aquaresist water-proof wooden chopping boards and a mix of baking/food-prepping gadgets… including that pea-sheller!
Tescoma will be presented on stand 209 at Exclusively Housewares 2012.
