On the first day of this year's show the Brabantia stand was a hive of activity as the designer of Brabantia’s striking ‘London’ Retro Bin, Joran Van der Haar, flew in from Holland to work on the stand.  Joran was the winner of Brabantia’s 2010 Iron in Style competition. He said, “To be in London, the city that inspired my design, and to meet UK buyers, at a time of such historic and landmark occasions, is a true honour. My work is inspired by everything I experience in daily life. Images from magazines, commercials, graffiti, comics and visual art - the way I fuse these images with my imagination sets my work apart.”

The Brabantia TV crew captured Joran showing buyers how he works, and filmed exclusive interviews with a well known interior designer, the consumer press and a key buyer, asking them what they thought of the new Brabantia designs.  To watch the Brabantia show video clip click here!
